Darcey is a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to his patients, using the latest evidence-based techniques and technologies.
Darcey graduated from Oxford Brookes University with First Class Honours in Physiotherapy having gained clinical experience in a number of NHS trusts and private clinics in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. Darcey has a huge interest in musculoskeletal injuries and has gained invaluable experience in strength and conditioning coaching with Oxford University Sports teams, professional rugby clubs and Flint House Police Rehabilitation Centre.
Darcey has an excellent understanding of the functional restrictions and challenges that clients face on a daily basis with their injuries and symptoms. Darcey also has a vast amount of experience treating and managing individuals with complex orthopaedic injuries. Consequently, he is motivated to work together with clients to ensure that they maximise their full rehabilitation potential and regain a sense of well-being and independence in light of achieving their goals.
Darcey also has experience in the medico-legal setting with Rehabilitation Case Management and helping clients with a range of complex injuries including polytrauma, neurological injuries, brain injury and clients in outpatient/community rehab settings.
Outside of the clinic Darcey is a keen sportsman and enjoys participating in tennis, running and strength and conditioning training.
